Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, a great master (Paramarta-guru), was untiringly inflicting spiritual teaching on those who sought Him without circumstantial limitations. Subbaramayya was a combination of literary interest, social position, and family limitations. From 1933, he went often from Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, to Arunachala Ramana Bhagavan, as if he carried a big vessel to plunder the grace of Upadesam, and he enjoyed a literary feast. With a record of date-wise events connected with Bhagavan and himself, he shared the same through this Telugu compilation, “Sri Ramana Smarana-mrutamu.” He also rendered this in English as “Sri Ramana Reminiscences,” and both are published by Sri Ramanasramam, Tiruvannamalai, India.
